Victoire en tournoi 50PL et … bonnes résolutions pour 2006

J’ai remporté hier un tournoi 50 PL avec 130 joueurs !!! L’année 2006 se termine donc bien pour moi, avec pas mal de résultats intéressants et qui ont bien « gonflé » ma bankroll pour aborder 2006 avec sérénité.

Plus que les résultats en eux-mêmes, je suis surtout content d’avoir l’impression d’avoir « franchi un palier ». Je gère beaucoup mieux qu’auparavant certaines phases du tournoi. J’ai l’impression de faire moins d’erreurs et souvent n’ai pas de regrets sur mon jeu sur le coup où je me fais éliminer. Merci aussi à Harrington (ahhhhhh le tome 2) pour la gestion de fin de tournoi…

Puisque cette année 2005 se termine, il est temps de penser à 2006. J’ai essayé pour cela de faire un petit bilan de ma vie pokerienne…

Je joue au poker entre amis depuis 10 ans (à l’époque avec des variantes plutôt exotiques dont la fameuse « queman brulan » que je vous expliquerai peut-être un jour !!!), mais sérieusement au holdem NL en tournoi depuis un an et demi.

Je me suis fait envoyer dernièrement tous mes résultats en tournois sur PS et c’est assez édifiant. 6 premiers mois de pertes régulières, l’apprentissage en quelque sorte. 6 mois suivants plus régulièrement dans les places payées, mais rarement en table finale, bilan à peine équilibré. Enfin 6 derniers mois beaucoup plus régulièrement payé, et quelques belles performances pour finir, avec plus de 6000 dollars nets de gains finalement (ce qui signifie appareil photo numérique et ordinateur portable pour ma femme pour Noel...).

J’ai aussi analysé ma progression sur le TLB (Tournament Leader Board de PS), un classement par points en fonction de tous les tournois joués. Sur un mois, ils prennent en compte les 20 meilleurs résultats et sur un an les 100 meilleurs. Sauf nouvelles performances d’ici le 31 décembre, je vais terminer l’année avec environ 11 500 aux environs de la 450ème place. Rien de très glorieux. Mais là aussi c’est ma progression qui m’encourage. J’ai 3 résultats au-dessus de 300 points tous en novembre et décembre. 5 autres résultats au-dessus de 200 points, tous depuis octobre à part un au mois d’avril. 9 autres résultats au-dessus de 150 points, tous depuis le mois d’août. En fin d’année, j’ai un rythme qui s’il était conservé tout au long d’une année me conduirait pas loin des 20 000 points et des 15 premières places du TLB !!

Enfin, cette année 2005 aura aussi été celle de ma qualification pour le main event des WSOP. Cette qualification est sans doute venue trop tôt au sens où je suis encore loin de maîtriser le jeu en tournois et déjà aujourd’hui je pense que je le jouerais mieux. Je ne pense pas avoir commis de graves erreurs, mais de façon générale je n’ai pas su développer le jeu que je me sens désormais capable de jouer. Mais bon, ce fut une expérience extraordinaire, l’occasion aussi de rencontrer Fred, Stéphane et Joel et de former ainsi le team Aladdin !!!

Ce bilan fait, passons aux bonnes résolutions pour 2006, sous forme d’objectifs :

1. devenir un joueur gagnant régulier en tournoi, au-delà des périodes de malchances inévitables. Que mes gains de novembre et décembre 2005 ne constituent pas l’exception

2. dépasser 15 000 points au TLB 2006, voire approcher les 20 000 !!!

3. au mois une « grosse performance », c’est-à-dire gagner un tournoi avec un gain largement supérieur à ceux que j’ai connus jusqu’ici

4. me qualifier pour un grand tournoi live… En route vers les WSOP 2006 ???

5. être bien classé au championnat sur internet du clubpoker (si vous voulez le jouer, visitez http://www.clubpoker.net/ )

6. Voir beaucoup de ALADDIN POWAAAAAA sur PS !!!

7. Et surtout, continuer de m’amuser en jouant et de satisfaire ainsi mon esprit de compétition !!!

Victoire dans un 20 NL à 180 joueurs

Après plusieurs tables finales dans cet exercice, je viens d en gagner un !

voici un petit résumé:

J ai d abord bcp de jeu, touchant QQ et KK dans les 4 premieres mains, ce qui me permet de rapidement de passer de 1500 à 3000 chips

ensuite j attends la main 29 pour un check au BB avec K6. Flop K65 et je vais gagner un beau pot face à un kamikaze qui me suit jusqu au bout avec 5 7 !!! juste parce que le 8 du turn lui donnait un tirage suite...

Main 37, blinds 25-50 j ai AK un type se met all in direct pour 1215... je profite de mon tapis de 3300 pour caller le flop vient KQ5 mais il a QQ... je retombe a 2200

apres, plus grand chose jusqu a la main 67 ou j ai AT
je bet sur un flop A32 suivi
turn 3, je bet a nouveau suivi encore
J ai peur d etre battu, mais apres une brique a la riviere, il montre QQ... vraiment aucun respect pour mes bets avec cet As au flop... en tout etat de cause, ca me permet de passer a 4900

Tres vite apres je gagne un gros pot avec KJ sur un tableau AQQJT qui me donne quinte face a A5... Je passe a 6760

Main 83, blinds 75=150
j ai AK un all in avant moi pour 1169 je call ainsi que la BB pour ses derniers 700
ils ont A9 et 66
le tableau : 4 2 Q 4 et K a la riviere merci...
je passse a 8 100

Main 93, blinds 100 200
j ai TT je raise a 3BB a 600
le flop vient 73J
je bet 800 pour tester, call sans hesitation, ca sent mauvais
sur le 2 au turn, mon adversaire bet 2000.
Je trouve ca bizarre et ne le mettant pas sur un J,je decide de relancer a 5000.
Il call en se mettant tapis
Il avait AQ... et mes T tiennent le coup
Je passe chipleader avec 15000 chips, sur 50 joueurs restants

Encore TT a la main 106, un short stack se met all in pour 2700 et mes T tiennent encore contre AJ

Encore et toujours TT a la main 139 sur des blinds 200 400 ante 50
je raise a 1200 un call

Il a AK et mon TT tient encore une fois. 3 sr 3 dans cet exercice perilleux
et 27 000 chips pour moi.

ensuite un grand desert pendant presque 100 mains, c est long... Mais mon grod tapis me permet d attendre et de voler malgre tout quelques blinds

Arrive la table finale. j ai 20 000 chips pour une moyenne de 27 000. le leaser a 52 000

je ne vois toujours rien et avec des blinds a 600 1200, mon tapis fond a vue d oeuil...

Je me retrouve finalement en tête à tête mais avec un gros déficit en chips

Je vais vendre chèrement ma peau, puisque le HU durera quand même 51 mains, mais finalement mon Q9 sera dominé par A5 et je termine 2ème avec 720 dollars de gagnés quand même.

Et une constatation intéressante : on peut faire au moins deux grosses erreurs dans un tournoi et terminer quand même bien placé

Le calme avant la tempete?

Comme certains l ' ont fait remarquer , nous ne sommes pas très bavards ces derniers temps...
La raison est plutot simple , aucun de nous n'est pro , et nos activités externes ne nous permettent pas toujours de passer beaucoup de temps autour des tables de poker , ou derriere nos PC ...
Donc a part Gab , en ce moment , les autres joueurs de l Aladdin se mettent un peu au vert ...Déménagement , travail intensif , mauvaises passes qui demandent un break .... Toutes les raisons sont bonnes pour ne pas jouer a notre jeux préféré...
Es ce vraiment un mal , je ne pense pas , bien au contraire ... Il nous arrive a tous de traverser des moments un peu plus durs , du a une mauvaise série, ou a une baisse de la qualité de notre jeux ... voir a un excès de jeu ... Donc comme tout le monde , on a tous besoin de parfois décompresser un peu, de faire d'autres choses, et de se vider l' esprit pour pouvoir repartir encore plus fort ...
L'année 2005 a été relativement chargée pour nous ... et nous espérons tous que 2006 le sera encore plus ... Avec beaucoup de beaux tournois , et beaucoup de perfs ... Faut bien réver un peu ;)
Voila, un peu d' air en attendant , et pour finir l ' année en beauté , on va quand meme essayer de faire quelques bons résultats dans la superbe série de tournois que nous a préparer Laurent de clubpoker.net , les Master's Clubpoker ...
